Description
Lockplates cover the access to the nut, as well as strengthen the locksocket. Metal sideplates are screwed on and allow a metal pin fastening for the nut, to keep the nut from ‘hopping’ out.
This lockplate is designed from photos of lockplates in the beautiful book: “Crossbows in the Royal Netherlands Museum”. It is a very correct lockplate for the Flemish Arbalist.
